Prior to entering a career in real estate, Emma was a CPA for five years. Her experience in the field of accounting provides significant overlap with her knowledge of real estate, making her an incredible asset for first time buyers and investors alike. Emma has a rich personal life and in her free time she enjoys playing golf as a member of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association, traveling, going to concerts, and exercising. She's on the board of directors of Omaha Mobile Stage, a nonprofit traveling stage "dedicated to the educational and charitable support of the live performing arts". She also loves to play video games. Some of her favorites include Overwatch, Assassin's Creed, Baldur's Gate, and Mario Party. In fact, she's met friends and referrals through Xbox.
She maintains integrity in her real estate career by always protecting her client's best interest.
"I'm an advisor, not a salesperson", she says when asked how she conducts her business.
"I'm very transparent with my clients and I do my best to protect them. I'm not a home inspector, but I can tell a client when a home is terrible. I look at the meat and potatoes of a house and I'm very honest, especially when working with first time buyers. Maintaining honesty is the most important thing I’ve learned when it comes to buyers, sellers, investors. If theres something that’s not being said it’s going to come up later."
Emma believes in treating people like you would a best friend. She always wants everyone to be happy and strives to build strong relationships with all of her friends and clients.
She values leaving an impact on people by doing things that are kind, respectful and memorable.
"I try to be really kind to everyone. I help people move and I’ve even installed a fire hydrant for a client’s dog to pee on. That’s why I love this job. You get to hear people’s stories and see intimate parts of their lives."
