Pursuing Homeownship in Massachusetts or Rhode Island? Meet Connie Stowers.

I am proud to introduce my network to Connie Stowers of Here Realty! Connie describes herself as a "Millennial with a Boomer’s work ethic and Gen-Z mentality". She is a force you could benefit from having in your corner - professionally and personally.

Connie, a single mother with her own past of challenging experiences, is well equipped to assist anyone going through life-changing events while providing reliability, comfort, and expertise.

Prior to kicking ass in real estate, Connie worked in high volume retail management - a career she excelled at, but did not find joy in. When retail began giving way to online shopping, Connie decided to pivot. For four years she worked in retail and practiced real estate simultaneously. At the height of the pandemic and after the birth of her daughter, Connie left her salaried career in retail and entered real estate full-time. She ventured into the housing industry with big dreams of impacting the world in a positive way, helping people, and working for herself.

On becoming a full-time business owner, Connie says, "It’s been the hardest and most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. You’re not an entrepreneur if you don’t cry." I second this sentiment.

One thing that sets Connie apart from other entrepreneur's is her unabashed and raw online display of her life. In addition to using social media as a tool for homeownership education, she vulnerably shares all aspects of her life, including her journey through divorce and into single motherhood, her sobriety practice, her progress in the gym, and her voyage to becoming a skilled quad skater.

"People told me I was insane for putting my life on the internet. People said I looked crazy, but people were still calling me to help sell their homes", Connie explained to me during our call.

She likens her honest social media presence to climbing up a slide when everyone said to take the stairs.

Connie, an independent agent, chose to hang her license at Here Realty, a boutique brokerage, because the managing broker, James Luth, believes in making the process about the agent and giving back to them.

"He puts as much money back in our pockets and works so hard in his own business while providing an 'innovative marketing, old school' approach [to our education]."

She works with a wide roster of clients ranging from recent college graduates investing in their first home to elderly folks downsizing for the last time. She mostly finds herself in business with the elder millennial crowd, many of whom have put off buying or are ready to sell their first property. She is skilled at helping people access housing to support major life events, such as marriage, growing a family, emptying the nest, and navigating divorce.

When asked what areas she serves, Connie quips, "I can work with any home if it has four posts and four walls and is considered real property within Massachusetts and Rhode Island."

Connie is someone I greatly look up to in the real estate industry. I admire her tenacity, optimism, and her matter-of-factness. All of these qualities make for an exceptional real estate agent and I am proud to be in business with someone who takes a genuine approach to helping people navigate the biggest financial decision of their lives.

If you are in the market to buy or sell property in Connie's area, reach out and allow me to make an introduction!
