Lucas & Haylee Found Their Perfect Starter Home!

I was connected to Lucas and Haylee through my partner, Trevor (heckin' swoon).

While catching up with Lucas, Trevor learned that they were in the beginning stages of the home buying process and were on the search for a great real estate agent.

Trevor and I met back in 2019, the year I studied for my real estate license, so he is acutely aware of my tenacious work style and dedication to my clients. He kindly referred them to me and in no time at all we were meeting for coffee to discuss their goals.

We squished into a bench at Bardo Coffee House on a sunny, Friday morning and dove into the whys and hows. I learned that Lucas and Haylee were recently married, high school sweethearts who were ready to purchase their first home. They were looking for a single family home with easy access to trails and open space, within biking distance to Lucas' workplace.

Within two weeks, Lucas and Haylee were pre-approved for a loan through my talented work wife, Maddy Westra, of Fairway Mortgage! Though they still had a few months left on their lease, we began touring right away and were surprised to find a lovely home in Westminster that aligned beautifully with their needs!

We had very little competition in the way, so we crafted up a reasonable offer with a typical 30-day close, slightly above asking price, and limited inspection verbiage, and just like that we were under contract!

I wish I had more drama to share about this deal, but to be honest, it was a breeze from start to finish. The home passed inspection with flying colors, we were able to negotiate a significant concession for a few minor repairs, the home appraised over the purchase price, and the loan conditions were ironed out well before we made it to the closing table.

I really enjoyed getting to know Lucas and Haylee during this deal. They are both very funny people on their own and together and I am grateful for the laughs we shared during the touring process. Congratulations to them both! I am so excited to see how they turn their new house into a home!
