I am proud to introduce my network to Miguel Vasconcelos of CB&A, Realtors!

Miguel and I have known each other since high school (go mavs!) and I've been watching him succeed in real estate since he became licensed in 2019.

With five years under his belt as a Houston Realtor, Miguel has found his groove in the process of helping Houstonians successfully buy, sell, and invest.

When COVID broke out, just a year after receiving his license, Miguel pressed forward and worked even harder to help people navigate a turbulent real estate market. He began hosting open houses to connect with potential buyers and watched his business take off.

"Since starting real estate, I’ve only seen extremes of the market - from incredibly slow to 20-30 offer situations. It’s been a rollercoaster of reinventing myself over and over."

Miguel is an independent broker who is 100% referral based. His tenacity can be seen in the daily hustle he commits to serving his community. He recently joined forces with his colleague, Silvestre Ocampo. They both have prior experience in marketing and hold each other accountable in being available to their community and educating themselves on a constantly shifting industry.

When asked why he commits himself to real estate every day, he replied, "It keeps me waking up and triggers those survival instincts. Real estate is not for the faint of heart. The 50-100 calls you were going to make for another team. Its different when you’re doing the work for yourself."

He primarily works with first time buyers and investors, with a few listings sprinkled in every year. His speciality lies in helping buyers navigate the new construction process.

Though he serves the entirety of Houston, his primary focus spans Mont Belvieu, Baytown, Pasadena, La Porte, Deer Park, Pearland, Friendswood, and League City.

I've always looked up to Miguel and enjoyed our time together in school. He possesses the innate ability to strike up a conversation with anyone. He has a natural gift of putting anyone at at ease his quick-wit and connectional humor, though he always knows when it's time to buckle down and get serious. It's these qualities that make Miguel an exceptional Realtor.

Miguel's favorite part of the real estate process is witnessing the joy on his client's faces at the closing table.

"I feel so fulfilled in knowing that they’re going to make core memories in a new home. It’s SO gratifying. When I hand over the keys, I know they’re about to have a great time. They’re just excited to open that door. Sometimes my clients invite me to open that door with them."

When Miguel isn't helping folks navigate the housing market, he can be found spending time with his family or playing a game of golf!
